We’re on the lookout for a commercially minded and relationship-driven Lead Estimator to oversee the pricing function and be part of the senior leadership team. This is more than just spreadsheets and scopes - it’s about playing a key role in winning work, building relationships, and helping shape the future of the business. You'll be using Cubit & Bluebeam, and working closely with the Director and Business Development Manager with both new and repeat clients, on commercial fit out tenders up to $10M in value.

Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
- Leading end-to-end tender processes and developing competitive pricing strategies
- Working alongside Business Development Manager to convert opportunities into secured projects
- Mentoring and developing a small team of estimators as we continue to grow
- Contributing to procurement strategies and subcontractor negotiations
- Building strong connections with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Representing the business at presentations and tender interviews
- Helping shape commercial targets and performance metrics across projects
- Taking charge of pricing across a mix of fitout and refurbishment projects (up to $10M in value)
About You
- You’re confident, commercially astute, and great with people. You’re not just looking to estimate - you want to lead the process, shape the team, and partner with a business that values your input.
- If you have worked for a larger fit out business in your career, and have great systems and processes and would like to implement changes to the Estimation function as you see fit (after discussion with the Director!) - this is your chance.
- If you have good relationships with existing subcontractors that you would like to introduce, and clients you have worked with in the past that you would like to propose, you will have the opportunity to do so.
You’ll ideally bring
- 5+ years of estimating experience in the commercial construction space, ideally in Sydney
- A background in commercial fit out, refurbishment, or high-end commercial interiors (not residential)
- A proven ability to win work through smart pricing and great communication
- Strong leadership qualities and a natural mentoring style - it's a close knit team and you'll have a Junior Estimator on your team to manage and delegate responsibilties to.
- A solutions-driven mindset and hunger to grow with a dynamic business.
