Are you a strategic leader with a proven track record in automotive fleet and corporate sales? We're seeking a dynamic Fleet & Corporate Manager to drive growth and operational excellence across our NSW and VIC fleet and corporate sales functions. This is a pivotal leadership role within our Automotive Retail brand.
About the Role
Reporting to the Franchise Director, Retail, you will play a crucial role in leading high-performing teams, strengthening relationships with OEM partners and Fleet Management Organisations (FMOs), and ensuring consistent customer experience across both states. This role is based in Artarmon, NSW , with interstate travel and occasional weekend work required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Sales & Commercial Execution: Accountable for achieving monthly and quarterly sales volumes, revenue, and margin targets across NSW and VIC fleet operations. Develop and execute strategies to maximize fleet sales and profitability , collaborate on pricing and product launches , and oversee fleet tender submissions.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key Fleet Management Organisations (FMOs) and corporate customers to drive long-term loyalty and growth. Engage and collaborate with OEM partners to align strategies, secure supply, and optimise program support.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the VIC and NSW Fleet and Corporate Sales teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement development plans to support team capability and retention. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the use of digital tools and CRM systems to improve pipeline visibility, quoting efficiency, and sales conversion tracking. Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management to support supply chain planning and business performance reporting. Ensure adherence to OEM contractual terms, and risk and compliance frameworks for all transactions.
- Workplace Health & Safety: Proactively manage risk and ensure a safe work environment by following standard safe work procedures, identifying and reporting hazards, acting responsibly, and participating in HSE improvement activities.
What You'll Bring
- Proven Leadership Experience: Proven experience in fleet and corporate sales leadership, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Relationship Management: Strong track record of relationship management and stakeholder engagement across multiple levels.
- Automotive Fleet Expertise: Deep understanding of the automotive fleet sales ecosystem, including FMO dynamics, tender processes, and OEM relations.
- Current Driver's Licence: Essential requirement.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic & Analytical: Strategic thinking with strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
