About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator. In this hands-on role, you'll perform essential welding and fabrication on both mobile and fixed plant across the site. You'll also be crucial in executing regular preventive and breakdown maintenance. While a boilermaker qualification isn't required, you'll need to be highly competent in various welding techniques and experienced in repairing and maintaining fixed plant and equipment.
We provide a site vehicle, all necessary tools, and safety gear. Overtime and Saturday shifts are often available to boost your earnings.
Key Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
- Essential welding and fabrication expertise.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent time management and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A steadfast commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and safe work practices.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience with trucks, fixed and mobile plant, conveyor belts, screening, and crushing systems.
- Certifications: Forklift license, Working at Heights, Dogman, and First Aid.
