Your Opportunity
As Facility Manager, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational and care aspects of the aged care home. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards, while driving operational performance and fostering a values-based workplace culture.
Your leadership will influence every facet of the facility, from clinical governance and staff development to financial performance and resident wellbeing.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the aged care facility ensuring excellence in care and compliance.
Lead, support, and manage a multidisciplinary team across all departments.
Implement policies and procedures that promote the comfort, dignity, and safety of residents.
Ensure consistent monitoring and evaluation of care delivery and service quality.
Develop, manage, and monitor budgets to optimize operational efficiency.
Drive quality improvement and innovation initiatives across the home.
Maintain regulatory compliance, including Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements.
Manage relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to foster a strong sense of community.
Monitor and implement risk management, infection control, and emergency response strategies.
Promote a culture of service excellence, learning, and workforce development.

Salary: $135K – $140K + Super

What You'll Bring:
Extensive senior management experience (5+ years) in aged care or healthcare operations.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
Sound knowledge of Aged Care legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, and AN-ACC funding model.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Current National Police Certificate and driver’s licence.
Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in management or related discipline.
Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination and influenza vaccination.
