show moreSeeking a self-motivated and resourceful individual with a valid driver's license for a temporary Facilities Officer role. You'll independently manage facility tasks across various locations, coordinating repairs, maintenance, access systems, and site improvements. This involves contacting suppliers for basic quotes and using MS Word/Excel for record-keeping. Access to a pool car and a laptop will be provided. This role suits someone comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and tracking repairs and maintenance across various sites
- Managing and auditing access control systems, including locks and key management
- Contacting suppliers to discuss and obtain basic quotes for facility works
- Organising and overseeing the installation and repair of equipment and fixtures
- Conducting site audits and maintaining accurate records using MS Word and Excel
- Utilising a company pool car for site visits
- Working independently and managing your workload effectively
- Providing support for various facility-related projects and initiatives
Essential Requirements:
- Current and valid driver's license
- Ability to confidently call suppliers and discuss basic quotes
- Basic-Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel for data input
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience scheduling or coordinating works, maintenance or facilities is desirable!
What's on Offer:
- Hourly rate of $41.50 + superannuation
- Immediate start available
- Temporary assignment through to July 31st (potential for extension)
