The Role
Their sales team provides vital lending solutions that enable business owners to thrive. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging potential clients, skillfully funnelling through the sales process and creating new business opportunities that contribute directly to the success of Australian small businesses.
Role Responsibilities
- Consistently develop new business by making a significant number of outbound calls to potential customers daily.
- Proactively follow up on all leads within agreed SLAs, maintaining a robust and active pipeline.
- Generate new sales prospects through targeted outbound calling, primarily engaging with warm leads.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and targets – this is essential to your success.
- Manage a high volume of outbound and inbound phone calls.
- Clearly and effectively explain the key benefits of our solutions to potential clients.
- Skillfully handle customer objections, turning challenges into opportunities.
- Develop and maintain accurate product knowledge to serve as an expert resource.
- Maintain effective and detailed notes on all client interactions within CRM systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
What you will bring
- Minimum of 1.5 years of professional experience in sales or a call centre environment.
- You thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and are energized by challenging goals.
