Responsibilities

• Collaborating with System Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to design and develop integration solutions that meet business requirements and technical constraints, utilising Microsoft Azure tools like App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
• Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality APIs ensuring reusability, reliability, scalability, and security. Managing API versions effectively, ensuring backward compatibility and seamless transitions between versions.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for integration components.
• Planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to verify the reliability, accuracy, and performance of integration solutions.

• Experience as a software developer, with proficiency programming in C#.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with API frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT) and API security best practices.
• Familiarity with databases, data structures, and integration patterns.
• Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and tools, such as App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
• Understanding of GraphQL, SOAP, microservices or other API technologies.
• Experience using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps to support efficient and automated deployment processes.
• Familiarity with any of the following technologies: Micro Focus Fortify, SailPoint, Service Now, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
