About the role:
As a Project / Engineering Technician you will be directly supporting programs from Demonstration, Contract Award and Development. This involves performing all First and Second Line Maintenance activities. Beyond maintenance, you'll actively contribute to supporting and developing modifications and other vital Research and Development (R&D) activities including travelling for system demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the ongoing serviceability of all DE and MOPOKE equipment in conjunction with colleagues from EOS Space Systems.
- Performing Fit-out of systems for Trials, Testing and Deployments.
- Supporting Business Development activities involving Demonstrations and Trials.
- Performing modifications and equipment builds to support R&D activities.
- Willingness to travel both in Australia and overseas is required.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Systems, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineer
- Previous Military Service as an Electronic / Electrical or Mechanical Technician is highly desirable
- Experience of operating and maintaining Electronic, Electro-Optical and/or Electro Mechanical equipment highly regarded
- Experience of Plant, HVAC, Services etc highly desirable.
- Eligible for security clearance
