Overview
Our client, one of Queenlsand's largest employers, is seeking a skilled and proactive Employee Services Officer to join their Shared Services team in Fortitude Valley. This is a temporary assignment of up to 6 months. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting internal customers and the HR branch by providing high-quality, timely customer service and administrative support. Your work will involve researching, designing, and delivering solutions to meet a variety of needs. You will specifically be supporting the Recruitment Team during a period of peak workload, assisting with theonboarding of new candidates.
About the Role
As an Employee Services Officer, you will be a key contributor to the team's success. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing excellent customer service and professional advice to Employee Services and HR stakeholders.
Utilising various systems and software, including SAP, learning management, and recruitment systems, to provide high-quality administrative support.
Assisting with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of tasks to meet deadlines and customer requests.
Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements.
Creating effective tools, templates, and processes to enhance efficiency.
Actively contributing to team direction, providing and receiving feedback, and helping to achieve a culture of performance excellence.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in administrative and support services. You thrive in a dynamic, demanding environment and are adept at managing multiple priorities. You have:
Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality support using a range of systems and software in a changing work environment.
Strong knowledge and experience with Employee Services business systems like SAP, learning management, and recruitment systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers at all levels.
A proven ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize your workload to meet deadlines.
Sound problem-solving and analytical skills, with a knack for recognizing opportunities for improvement.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a culture of high performance.
A Criminal History Check is a mandatory requirement for this role.
