About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrician/Electrical Fitter who wants to leverage their trade skills while also taking on general maintenance duties. You will be equipped with a company mobile phone, a company-maintained service vehicle, a fuel card, and a tablet.
This role is ideal for someone looking for a varied position that offers the chance to use their electrical expertise and learn new skills.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Work primarily in the field, visiting customer sites.
- Provide service and maintenance for back-of-house material handling equipment, including compactors, dock levellers, scissor hoists, and pallet jacks.
- Engage in some country travel as required.
- Adhere to standard operating hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (38-hour week), with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Skills and Experience
- Trade qualifications/Electrical license.
- Proficient in electrical systems, with a willingness to learn mechanical and/or hydraulic skills.
- Ability to identify faults and troubleshoot effectively.
- Capable of working within time constraints while adhering to legal and Work Health and Safety
- (WHS) obligations.
- Must possess a current manual driver’s license and have familiarity with local areas.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- A strong work ethic in a diverse, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
- High attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
- Experience in servicing and repairing roller doors and/or sectional doors and low-voltage electrical work is advantageous but not required.
