The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building services design and consultancy. You will be involved in designing and managing electrical systems for projects spanning commercial, industrial, healthcare, and retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
... Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and retail buildings
Perform detailed electrical calculations and prepare design documentation
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and clients to ensure integrated design solutions
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards and building codes
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in building services consultancy or related industry
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and National Construction Code (NCC)
Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, or similar)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
