This role within a Federal agency's Integrity Transformation and Fraud Group (ITFG) is responsible for leading the technical planning and delivery of complex ICT projects focused on enhancing the integrity of the agency. The position involves coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and delivery partners to implement innovative solutions, manage technical risks, and ensure alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional technical solution planning and delivery for new capabilities, aligning various technical and business aspects with internal and external partners.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and plans, balancing technical dependencies and business priorities.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, user pain points, and operational gaps to ensure scalable and user-centric solutions.
- Manage delivery partners for system implementation and act as the technical lead within agile teams, resolving complex cross-functional issues.
- Oversee project delivery using standard tools, ensuring adherence to ITFG technology standards, managing risks, issues, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive Project Management experience (5-8 years) within Federal or State Government environments, managing complex technical ICT system delivery across agencies.
- Strong and current knowledge of contemporary project management and governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and a recognised project management certification (e.g., Diploma of Project Management, SAFe Agile).
- Demonstrated experience in identity-focused fraud prevention initiatives (e.g., identity resolution, secure authentication, access management, fraud risk detection).
- Proven ability to translate complex identity or fraud-related business needs into actionable project plans, effectively bridging business and technical teams.
