About the Centre
Our client is located in the Yarriambiack Shire Council, Victoria near Horsham. This is a brand new 57 place purpose built centre which opened in January 2025. The centre will provide the community with Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs as well as long day care. The centre will have outdoor play areas as well as a community space for local child and family services such as maternal and child health consulting.
About the Role
We are recruiting a new Early Childhood Teacher for a brand new centre located in Murtoa! This is a full time position Monday - Friday.
Salary Band
Early Childhood Teacher - $72,847 - $116,906 + 12% Superannuation + $5,000 workforce attraction bonus + $10,000 relocation allowance!
Key duties for all roles will include:
- Deliver high-quality kindergarten programs, guided by evidence-informed contemporary pedagogy and practice.
- Program planning and implementing the educational program, monitoring and documenting children's progress, and supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Ensure a high level of child supervision and meet children's needs.
- Ensuring the centre meets safety and compliance standards.
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and good early childhood practices.
- Willing to create and support a culture of collaboration by building effective relationships.
- Able to demonstrate the values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.
About you:
- Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher ACECQA approved qualification)
- Victorian institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Certificate
- Clear International & National Police Check
- Full Time Australian working rights
