The Role at a Glance
Rate: $37.66 p/h + Super
Contract: 6 Months (Starting March 2026)
Location: CBD Office (5 days per week)
Focus: Banking Scams, Credit/Lending, and Financial Hardship
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Specialist, you will manage disputes through the entire resolution lifecycle—from initial investigation to final decision-making.
Investigate & Mediate: Analyze complex banking and insurance complaints that haven't been resolved internally.
Engage: Work directly with consumers and small businesses to understand their issues and sought-after outcomes.
Solve: Facilitate negotiations and provide fair, independent, and merits-based decisions.
Document: Accurately record case details and manage your own portfolio of files with high attention to detail.
What You Bring
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in Banking or Insurance is essential.
Technical Savvy: A strong understanding of credit management, lending, or scams.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills—you can explain complex decisions clearly and empathetically.
Mindset: An analytical approach with the ability to remain impartial and unbiased.
Previous experience in disputes/complaints is highly regarded but not mandatory.
