The Role

As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing a variety of trucks, mobile plant, and equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing regular servicing, inspections, and repairs
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues
- Conducting preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance and lifespan
- Using diagnostic tools to identify faults and recommend effective solutions
- Collaborating with team members to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- Upholding strict workplace health and safety standards
About You
We’re seeking candidates who bring:
- Recognised trade qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic/Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- A strong eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
- A commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards. Flexibility to handle on-site tasks, including occasional weekends or emergency cal-louts
