Delivery Lead | 6 Month Contract (Temp-to-Perm Potential) | Melbourne | Hybrid
A well-established Australian retail organisation is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to join their technology team on an initial 6 month contract. There's strong potential for this role to extend or convert to permanent, and pure contractors are also welcome to apply.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead delivery of small-scale digital projects and product enhancements across web, app and data and analytics initiatives
- Act as the central point of coordination between business and technology teams, managing enhancements, defect resolution and prioritisation
- Drive clear, consistent stakeholder communication, keeping progress, risks and dependencies visible
- Own delivery cadence using a hybrid Agile and structured approach, including backlog management, sprint coordination and release tracking
- Partner closely with development, operations and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability
- Manage and track work through Jira and Confluence, maintaining accurate documentation and status reporting
- Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks, bottlenecks and cross-team dependencies
- Support continuous improvement of delivery processes and stakeholder engagement practices
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager or similar, coordinating delivery across business and technology teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate clearly across all levels
- Hands on experience with hybrid Agile and structured delivery methods, including backlog and sprint management
- Confidence using Jira and Confluence for tracking, documentation and reporting
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to resolving delivery risks and dependencies
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent digital initiatives spanning web, app and data and analytics

- On-site requirement: 2-3 days per week on-site
