About the Opportunity
Are you a Senior Data Lead with solid SAP EAM experience looking for your next challenge? We are partnering with a leading energy client to find a Senior Data Lead service provider to support the second phase of their Strategic Data Program (SDP). This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity to significantly impact a critical program aimed at enhancing data and information management capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
As the Senior Data Lead, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including:
- Orchestrating data preparations for UAT.
- Reviewing and implementing the comprehensive Data Transformation Plan.
- Developing and meticulously maintaining the data transformation register.
- Managing the loading and reconciliation of data into various SAP clients.
- Reviewing and updating Data Design documents, including conducting thorough risk and impact assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Developing and maintaining the Data Mapping Workbook.
- Creating and optimizing Data Loading Scripts and Templates.
- Generating insightful Data Analysis and Quality Monitoring Reports.
- Designing and executing Data Migration and Data Transformation Verification testing plans, scripts, and reports.
- Collaborating on any other related data-focused tasks as directed by the client.
- Support the existing application and diagnose defects

About You
You are a highly skilled and proactive Senior Data Lead/Consultant with a proven track record in large-scale data programs. You possess:
- Solid experience with SAP EAM.
- Extensive experience in data management, data warehousing, and data transformation.
- Strong expertise in Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement ELT solutions.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts as applied to data pipelines is highly regarded.
- Proficiency with Power BI Gateway and SAP data environments.
- Some application development experience.
- A willingness to self-direct your learning. The existing application has been built and requires ongoing improvements, and the ideal candidate will be adept at navigating and understanding its intricacies independently.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
