Randstad Digital is currently looking for a talented Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in Power BI and SQL to join their dynamic team. Based in Brisbane’s CBD, this role will be working as part of a large team of Data Analysts, working on complex Power BI dashboards. This is a 4-month contract initially, with the opportunity to extend.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources using SQL, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support data governance initiatives and contribute to improving data quality processes.
What You'll Bring:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
