About the Role:
Join a leading Australian Food Ingredients company with a significant global export footprint! Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Export Sales Liaison Officer to be the crucial link between their international customers and their export operations.
This is a vital, end-to-end role focused on managing the international customer experience, from initial enquiry and contract execution through to the final, successful delivery of their specialized chilled, frozen, and dry ingredients.
If you have a strong background in Customer Service, Sales Administration, or dedicated Account Coordination and enjoy problem-solving and proactive communication, this is your opportunity to own the full customer journey in an international context.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Onboarding & Sales Support: Own the end-to-end onboarding process for all new customers and new product lines, from first contact to the execution of the initial sales contract.
Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for international customers, proactively managing communication and resolving day-to-day service issues.
Problem-Solving: Coordinate the resolution of any logistical issues in collaboration with internal teams, and directly manage the customer experience during these events.
Export Coordination: Work closely with the internal Sales and Logistics Coordinators to ensure efficient export operations, including managing documentation, bookings, and customs clearance.
Compliance & Administration: Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations. Maintain accurate customer databases, and support the Finance team with invoice verification and claims processing.
Team Support: Provide hands-on operational support to the Export Sales and Logistics Coordinators.
What You Will Bring
A demonstrated background in Customer Service, Sales Administration, or Account Coordination is essential.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills: the ability to act as a proactive, professional liaison between the customer and internal teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative and persistence.
Familiarity with the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or Food Ingredients sector is highly desirable, but not essential.
