The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of contracts, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a key role that requires a meticulous and proactive individual with a strong understanding of the construction life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Procurement: Assist with the tendering process, including preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluating submissions, and recommending subcontractors and suppliers.
Financial Administration: Manage variations, progress claims, and invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including contracts, correspondence, and project schedules.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, resolving contract-related queries and issues.
Compliance: Ensure all contractual obligations and legal requirements are met throughout the project life cycle.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract status, financial performance, and potential risks.
Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience as a Contract Administrator in the commercial construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of Australian construction contracts.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in project management and contract administration software.
A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is highly desirable.
