Key Responsibilities
Prepare and administer contracts in accordance with government policies and procedures
Coordinate procurement activities
- Conducting schedules and sorting out priorities to match the needs of the project
Maintain accurate contract records, registers, and reporting systems
Monitor contractor performance and ensure contract milestones are achieved
Assist in risk management, audit compliance, and performance reviews
Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on contract and procurement matters
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience in contract or procurement administration, preferably within a government or infrastructure-related environment
Understanding of the WA public sector procurement framework and relevant legislation (e.g., State Supply Commission policies)
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Well-developed written and verbal communication abilities
Strong time management and the ability to prioritise competing demands
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management tools/systems
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
WA Government background.
Previous experience in contract administration or procurement, ideally within a government or infrastructure environment
High-level attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience using contract management or procurement systems (e.g. Tenders WA, TRIM, or similar)
