The role
As a Recruitment Consultant in our Canberra Trades & Labour team, you will manage a high-energy, well-established warm desk. This is a fast-paced role dedicated to the Trades and Labour sectors, placing key talent in temporary positions across the ACT and surrounding regions. You'll be stepping into a profitable and well-maintained portfolio with significant untapped potential to maximize your earnings through our highly competitive, uncapped commission structure.
We are looking for a natural "people person"-someone with exceptional conversation-building ability who can talk to anyone, from site managers to tradespeople. This role is perfect for a resilient professional with at least 2 years of experience who is looking to pivot into a professional recruitment career. We are highly open to candidates from Employment Services, Service Provider backgrounds, or high-volume Sales environments.

Responsibilities
- Nurture and strengthen client relationships to understand and fulfill their recruitment requirements effectively.
- Proactively identify and acquire new clients through strategic business development initiatives.
- Source, assess, and place exceptional candidates in roles that align with their skills and aspirations.
- Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Facilitate seamless interview and placement processes between candidates and employers, ensuring successful matches.
About you
- A minimum of 2 years of recruitment agency experience/ Sales experience
- You should be driven by a passion for delivering tailored recruitment solutions that meet clients needs
- A strong enthusiasm for business development is crucial
- As a positive and team-oriented individual, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships.
- You are a high achiever with a competitive spirit, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment where success is measured by results.
