Your Opportunity
As Training Facilitator, reporting directly to the Facility Manager, you will be the cornerstone of staff development in the aged care setting. You will lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of education and training initiatives across the facility, ensuring staff performance aligns with industry standards and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Your focus will be on creating a continuous learning environment by providing coaching, mentoring, hands-on clinical training, and supporting new staff onboarding. You’ll also monitor training compliance and performance development in collaboration with workforce and leadership teams.
You will work alongside clinical and care staff to foster a culture of empowerment, personal growth, and innovation in care delivery.
There are 3 role locations (you would choose the one that is best for you):
1. Roving across all 7 sites
2. Site in Cleveland
3. Dual site in Carindale & Birkdale
Your Key Responsibilities:
... Design and deliver engaging, relevant, and compliant training programs tailored to the needs of aged care staff.
Support workforce capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Lead new staff orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring confident and capable team members.
Facilitate clinical skills training such as medication administration, mobility assistance, and wound care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff training records and support compliance monitoring.
Identify and address skill gaps through needs assessments and individualized learning plans.
Promote a culture of personalisation, empathy, responsiveness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate across teams to embed best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a clinical or care leadership role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse staff groups.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training in healthcare or aged care settings.
Intermediate to advanced digital literacy, including use of Microsoft Office and electronic care systems.
A current Federal Police Clearance and driver’s licence.
COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations.
Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in training, education, or leadership.
