As Clinical Care Manager, reporting to the Facility Manager, you will take a leading role in ensuring high standards of clinical care and service delivery across the aged care home. You will be responsible for clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and leadership of the care team to support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of all residents.
Your leadership will shape the delivery of person-centred care and ensure the clinical team operates effectively within quality, safety, and legislative frameworks.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and guide the delivery of high-quality clinical care in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Lead, support, and develop the clinical and care teams, ensuring consistent best-practice standards.
Conduct clinical assessments, care planning, and review processes tailored to resident needs.
Monitor and evaluate care outcomes, implementing continuous improvement strategies where needed.
Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and risk management protocols.
Work collaboratively with the Facility Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
Provide leadership in clinical audits, incident investigations, and accreditation processes.
Engage with residents, families, and allied health professionals to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
Support staff performance development, mentoring, and training initiatives within the clinical team.

Salary: $135K – $140K + Super

What You'll Bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Proven experience in clinical care management or a senior nursing role in aged care.
Strong understanding of Aged Care legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, and AN-ACC funding.
Demonstrated leadership ability, with excellent communication and team-building skills.
Ability to assess complex care needs and implement evidence-based care solutions.
Sound knowledge of infection control, medication management, and clinical documentation.
Current National Police Certificate and driver’s licence.
Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in clinical leadership or healthcare management.
Up-to-date COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
