Your team
The claims team is the heart of the client experience. The team’s culture revolves around working collaboratively to advocate for their not-at-fault customers, allowing them to achieve the best outcomes.
Your role & responsibilities
Manage the Claims Assessor team to achieve department expense budgets, key performance indicators and financial performance targets and budgets
Communicate and maintain claims KPI’s, guidelines, recommend updates to process and procedure manuals
Constant tracking and monitoring of teams performance, including the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports as required or agreed
Provide ongoing support, coaching and development to staff, and undertaking the performance and career development planning, along with providing monthly feedback to direct reports to maintain a culture of personal accountability for individual and team results.
Ensure claims decisions are made in conjunction with the PDS, but with specific customer circumstances considered.
About You
You'll have a strong knowledge of Insurance Claims disciplines, practices, and products as well as knowledge of the Insurance industry regulatory requirements (mandatory).
Motor claims experience is highly desirable
Proven team management & leadership skills (particularly leading remote teams)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
