About the Centre
Our client is located in the Yarriambiack Shire Council, Victoria near Horsham. This is a brand new 57 place purpose built centre which opened in January 2025. The centre will provide the community with Three-Year-Old and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs as well as long day care. The centre will have outdoor play areas as well as a community space for local child and family services such as maternal and child health consulting.
About the Roles
We have Two full time Diploma Educator roles, one full time Certificate 3 educator and a Part time 0.8 FTE position.
Salary Band
Diploma Qualified Educator - $69,692 - $75,417 per year
Certificate 3 Educator - $53,865 - $65,916 per year (Pro Rata)
Key duties for all roles will include:
... - Support the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education, guided by evidence-informed contemporary pedagogy and practice
- Contributing to the planning and implementing the educational program, monitoring children's progress, and supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Promoting a positive and supportive team culture
- Ensure high level of child supervision and meet children's needs
- Ensuring the centre meets safety and compliance standards
- Able to demonstrate the values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights
Qualifications
- Certificate III and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (mandatory)
- Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
- Clear International / National Police Check
- First Aid, Asthma, CPR & Anaphilaxis Certificate
- Food Safety Training
- Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Certificate
About you
- Sound understanding of the EYLF and good early childhood practices
- Experience working towards (and achieving) targets as well as meeting safety and compliance standards
- Strong communication skills with children, families, the community and the team within the centre
- Ability to work within a flexible and changing environment
- Willing to create and support a culture of collaboration by building effective relationships
