Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable people to join our Ground Operations team as Entry Level Pick Packer Runners. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual that doesn’t mind getting their steps in. The on-site operations team play an integral role in their drone delivery service and are responsible for the prompt and accurate fulfilment of all consignment merchant orders received.
Reporting to the Manager and Coordinator, your role involves the following:
- Receive orders via internal apps
- Pack into delivery containers
- Safely and efficiently run packages between retailers & merchants to the nest & flight line
- Examine and inspect items & products to ensure that packing specifications are met
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Run off-site errands
- Additional tasks as required by the Ground Ops Coordinator.
- Comply with all training and procedures such as wearing PPE while on the flight line
- Communicate / report any safety or operational issues to Coordinator
- Conduct end of day procedures (e.g bin runs and cleaning duties)
Experience:
- All training will be provided, but past warehouse/Pick Packer and hospitality/ retail experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities effectively
- As a Runner, the job involves a lot of walking throughout the day over all sorts of outdoor conditions that our drones can operate in (rain, heat, wind etc).
- A good attitude is required whilst working in a fairly repetitive and autonomous environment with physical and manual handling at its core.
- You will thrive in a flexible working environment
- Available across Tuesday to Sunday, MUST be available on WEEKENDS.
