In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our key accounts, driving profitable business growth through a mix of existing relationship management and strategic new business development. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will work within a high-performance culture that values teamwork, safety, and mutual respect.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Management: Develop and implement account strategies for Victoria, NSW, and Tasmania to achieve set sales targets.
Business Development: Identify and secure at least two new customers annually from strategic growth segments such as Power and Mining.
Client Engagement: Maintain regular contact with key accounts through in-person visits and professional communication in line with a structured call plan.
Technical Solutions: Provide consultative support by recommending product and technical strategies that meet specific customer requirements.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and market developments, updating plant shutdown calendars and forecasting specific client needs.
Internal Collaboration: Provide technical support to the Customer Service team and lead internal training sessions to strengthen business capability.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM, including call notes, opportunity stages, and forecast accuracy.

Commercially Astute: You have a strong flair for sales and the ability to quickly develop deep technical product knowledge.
Proactive & Determined: You are self-motivated, assertive, and capable of dealing with pressure in a dynamic environment.
Safety Conscious: You lead by example in health and safety, ensuring 100% reporting of incidents and hazards.
Excellent Communicator: You can build rapport quickly with people from diverse backgrounds and communicate effectively at all levels.
Selection Criteria
Experience: Proven experience in either an internal or external sales capacity, with a strong understanding of sales techniques and marketing strategies.
Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM systems.
Qualifications: A current driver’s licence is essential. Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications are highly regarded but not mandatory.
Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to analyze and interpret market information.
