About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Business Analyst to join our public sector team. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring SAP systems are configured and optimized to meet operational objectives. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the implementation of SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to document and prioritize functional and technical data quality requirements for S/4 migration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between payroll data owners and the technical/data teams.
- Collaborate with data owners to define the scope of data cleansing activities to ensure data meets quality standards prior to migration.
- Support data migration efforts for Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors (SF), ensuring accurate mapping, transformation, and loading of HR/payroll-related data.
- Create and maintain data quality dashboards and reports to track progress and monitor data cleansing KPIs.
- Coordinate with the testing team to validate cleansed data loaded into SAP systems.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on data quality status and any issues that require resolution.
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on data management and data cleansing.
- Strong knowledge of SAP systems (S/4 HANA, ECC, FICO, MM, etc.) with experience in data migration or integration projects.
- Experience working with business data owners to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Familiarity with data cleansing tools like InfoSteward and techniques such as validation, transformation, and reconciliation.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies and an understanding of data governance principles.
- Proficiency in creating data reports, dashboards, and metrics to track the progress of data cleansing activities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly developed written communication skills, including documentation and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience delivering large-scale ERP technical implementations in a government environment (Federal, State, or Local).
- Experience in government, utilities, or enterprise HR transformation programs.
- Background in HR policy, employee relations, or talent development.
- Prior experience in federated HR models.
- Exposure to the SAP Activate methodology and HR data management best practices.
