Azure Systems Administrator
Type: 06 Months Contract + 06 months extension
Location: Adelaide, South Australia
We are looking for a skilled Azure Systems Administrator to work with our client in Adelaide on a 06 months initial contract for a System Uplift Program. The ideal candidate will have at least 05 years of recent, significant experience as an Azure Systems Administrator, with proven expertise in Azure cloud services and system integration. This role is a key position in a large and complex IT project that involves both business and technical transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer core Azure services, including Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and IAM.
- Configure and maintain Azure networking solutions, such as VNets, NSGs, VPNs, VWANs, Azure Firewall and ExpressRoute.
- Implement and enforce Azure Policy to ensure compliance and security.
- Configure Private Endpoints and manage Private DNS settings for secure network access.
- Administer API Management to secure and manage API traffic.
- Utilize and support key data platforms like Microsoft Fabric, One Lake, Data Factory and Dataverse.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps (or) GitHub Actions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Significant experience in Azure cloud services and system integration.
- Demonstrated experience working on large and complex IT projects involving business transformation and technical implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), RBAC and IAM.
- Experience with Azure networking and tools like Azure Portal, ARM templates and Terraform / Bicep.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, provide technical guidance and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
