We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Associate Director, International Student Recruitment and Business Development to lead our student recruitment, international business development, and international partnerships efforts.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer , you will lead the development and implementation of recruitment and marketing strategies to attract international students to our Pathways English and Foundation programs, both onshore and offshore. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the International Student Recruitment team to achieve recruitment targets and ensure high-quality service.
Develop, update, and lead the annual international recruitment and marketing strategies and plans for ELICOS and related English programs.
Drive the team's sales process to deliver annual conversion plans and meet budgeted enrolments.
Oversee the growth of the onshore
Study Tour program and General English Program.
Lead and further build an onshore and offshore international recruitment and conversion team to meet ambitious growth targets in key regions.
Identify and lead the development of new offshore partnerships, including taking responsibility for
Transnational Education (TNE) partnership negotiations and agreements.
Manage the human, financial, and physical resources of the team, including maintaining a balanced budget.
Contribute significantly to the overall leadership of the organisation as a member of the Leadership Team.
Skills and Experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification.
Demonstrable experience, knowledge, and understanding of the ELICOS, Foundation, and International student recruitment market.
Proven people management and leadership experience.
Familiarity with international student recruitment practices, previous experience in marketing and sales, and strong commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, well-developed interpersonal skills (including the ability to establish productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders), and demonstrated cultural sensitivity.
A Working with Children Clearance.
Desirable
Familiarity with the university sector.
Agent management experience.
Experience in international student recruitment from a diverse range of source countries.
