As a valued member of the Randstad Aged Care team, you will provide essential support to RNs and ENs in delivering high-quality, person-centered care. You can pick up shifts through our user-friendly app, directly assisting facilities with staffing needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and meals.
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition or behavior.
- Assisting with basic observations (temp, pulse, etc.) as directed.
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Assisting with activities of daily living and encouraging participation.
- Adhering to facility policies, including infection control and safety.
- Working collaboratively with the nursing team.
To be successful, you will need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in personal care, preferably aged care in Australia.
- Passion for caring and commitment to person-centered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Current National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Willingness to obtain current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations.
