assistant in nursing - 3 month contract.

We are currently seeking qualified and motivated Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join a large team on a contract basis in the Mackay region. These positions are ideal for dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist registered and enrolled nurses in the delivery of quality nursing care

• Provide support with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition

• Contribute to the physical and emotional well-being of patients

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team

Essential Criteria:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Valid National Police Check or NDIS clearance

• 3 x Covid & Current Infleunza

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

• Prior experience in aged care, acute, or community settings is highly regarded
