Our client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to support the finance manager.. This is a position with clear and set responsibilities.
Location: WingfieldPosition: Full time or Part -time ( depending on experience min 30 hours per week)Duration: PermanentSalary: $65K- $75K + super
The key functions of the Accounts Officer are to:
- Accounts Receivable – complete process
- Accounts Payable – complete process
- Debt Collection and Debtor management
- Process bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts daily
- Process and reconcile credit cards weekly
- Intercompany transaction transfers
- Perform data entry and general support using ERP/CRM software
- Administrative tasks, inc. stationery, staff amenities, incoming mail – as required
- Customer Service support as required – manage customer/supplier queries
- Provide other adhoc duties to in support to Finance Manager to obtain monthly Finance KPI’s
Requirements of the role:
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals, manage time and tasks to meet deadlines and workload
- Ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
- Know when to ask for assistance with tasks and workload
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate and work effectively with a range of parties; to establish rapport and credibility at all levels
- Intermediate level of skills with Excel
- Experience Proven Experience and knowledge in Accounts Payable and Receivable space
- Experience with accounting software programs is essential
- Some experience working with ERP/MRP based systems is desirable ie. SAGE, SAP, Oracle
