About the Role:
In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for forging strong connections with new and existing customers, contractors, and consultants. Your goal will be to maximize market share and profitability within your allocated engine segments and territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new project opportunities using solution-selling techniques.
- Deliver compelling quotations and proposals that highlight our value proposition.
- Maintain a high conversion rate of opportunities through collaborative efforts.
- Monitor industry trends and develop strategies to expand into emerging markets.
- Manage inquiries, opportunities, and tender submissions effectively.
- Populate and maintain sales systems with accurate data.
- Develop and implement a strategic coverage plan for customers
- Recommend optimal technical solutions and alternative approaches to customer problems.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong sales acumen with a focus on building rapport and trust.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with a sense of urgency to close sales.
- Initiative and a solution-focused mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A background in mechanical or electrical trades, or a degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related Business discipline (preferred).
Ideally you will have experience in selling heavy industrial solutions such as generators, compressors, pumps etc. to your clients across the WA region.
With limited travel expected and the whole territory to manage and grow you will have a local team of experts to work with.
