APS5 Training Coordinator - Geelong Based
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated APS5 Training Coordinator to join our Federal Government client in Geelong. This is a 12-month temporary assignment to start with, at a pay rate of $55.24 per hour plus superannuation. The role is crucial in coordinating and delivering training packages that are culturally safe and equitable for First Nations people with disability.
As the Training Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with internal teams and First Nations stakeholders to implement learning solutions that reflect cultural knowledge and adult learning principles. You will support the organization of training sessions, contribute to the development of learning materials, and assist in the delivery of training.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Coordinate all training delivery logistics, including scheduling, venue booking, and participant communications.
- Support the facilitation of training sessions, ensuring they are culturally safe and inclusive.
- Assist in developing and refining training materials, such as participant guides and digital content.
- Collaborate with First Nations stakeholders to ensure training reflects cultural knowledge and community perspectives.
- Monitor attendance and feedback to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Maintain training records and contribute to reports for senior leadership.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated understanding of cultural safety and First Nations perspectives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and inclusive training practices.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and culturally responsive service delivery.
- Experience working in or with First Nations communities is highly regarded.
- Qualifications in education, training, or human resources are desirable.
