Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead, train, motivate, and mentor a team of warehouse staff to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective stock control measures.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and compliance regulations to maintain a secure and efficient workplace.
Hands-on Operations: Actively participate in manual handling tasks, including the lifting and moving of stock.
Overall Support: Assist the Operations Manager with general warehouse operational needs.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Proven Experience: Previous, demonstrated experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
Licence: A current Forklift (LF) Licence is essential.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
Organisational Acumen: Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Management Skills: Knowledge of labour planning and performance management best practices.
