About the Role
As the Warehouse Leader, the person in this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory, including storing, moving, receiving, and dispatching goods. The role plays a key part in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment for all team members.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading warehousing and distribution operations.
Raising and finalising purchase orders for all indirect products.
Picking, packing, and wrapping goods.
Working with transport companies on load quantities and bookings.
Processing sales orders for direct customer deliveries.
Performing weekly cycle counts for inventory control.
Driving the company's risk management and safety responsibilities.
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For
Proven experience in warehouse and logistics leadership.
A valid High-Risk Forklift license with experience driving both fork and reach trucks in a high-output environment.
Experience dispatching goods and working with transport companies for small and pallet load quantities.
A sound understanding of inventory control and OHS requirements.
The ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Good levels of physical fitness.
