About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Allocator to join a team of 3. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of Sydney metropolitan logistics, NHVR, a sharp eye for detail, and solid organisational skills.
Key areas of focus for the role includes:
- Monitor and manage fleet movement throughout the metro area
- Coordinate logistics and assist with scheduling and route planning
- Support compliance with fatigue management and driving hour regulations
- Ensure vehicles are operating within weight and mass management limits
- Communicate with drivers and stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Strong knowledge of the city metro area
- Excel proficiency and general computer literacy
- Understanding of fatigue management and driver hour compliance
- Knowledge of truck weights, loading procedures, and mass management
- Rail experience is a plus, but not essential
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
