This role sits within their elite Structural Heart division, specifically championing a revolutionary, market-leading transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) device designed to treat complex cardiac valve disease.
Your New Role
Operating as a dual Clinical Specialist and Territory Manager, you will hold a high-visibility position within major hospital accounts and catheterisation labs (cath labs) across New South Wales. You will balance technical clinical expertise with strategic commercial acumen, acting as a trusted advisor to interventional cardiologists, structural heart teams, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) during live, high-stakes surgical procedures.
Key Duties
In-Theatre Clinical Guidance: Provide expert, real-time technical and clinical support to implanters and surgical teams during complex transcatheter procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Commercial Territory Growth: Manage key hospital accounts, navigate hospital procurement channels, and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory growth targets.
KOL Engagement: Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with structural heart physicians, imaging specialists, and theatre nursing staff.
Technical Education: Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations, case reviews, and continuous in-service training for clinical personnel.
Strategic Coordination: Manage inventory, coordinate case coverage with the wider state team, and maintain seamless end-to-end customer support.
What We Are Looking For
Clinical or Commercial Background: A degree or diploma in Nursing (Cardiac/ICU/Theatre preferred), Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, or an exceptional track record in Medical Device Sales.
Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience within a cath lab, structural heart, or high-end CRM/interventional cardiology environment is highly desirable.
Technical Aptitude: Comfort navigating complex clinical data, echocardiography/imaging interpretation, and high-pressure theatre environments.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented mindset.
