As the Technical Project Lead, you will take ownership of the implementation and vendor onboarding phase for a vital system replacement. You will serve as the central coordination point connecting business stakeholders, internal technical teams, and external third-party implementation vendors. Operating within a rigorous framework, your daily mission centers on delivery execution, proactive risk management, and ensuring the business is fully prepared for a seamless go-live.
Key Responsibilities
Establish the integrated implementation plan, define escalation pathways, monitor budgets, and manage critical path activities.
Lead vendor onboarding, communicate technical standards, conduct knowledge transfer, and monitor performance against milestones.
Partner with the Solution Architect to validate vendor technical designs, integrations, and data migration activities.
Coordinate environment provisioning, access management, data cleansing, and interface readiness across teams.
Develop the overarching QA plan and coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
Oversee cutover planning, develop support documentation, and manage the transition to business-as-usual operations.
About You
Demonstrated experience managing complex IT system replacements, integration projects, and data migrations.
Experience in onboarding external implementation vendors and keeping deliverables aligned with contractual timelines.
Highly proficient in managing project RAID logs, mitigation strategies, and formal deployment readiness assessments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical milestones into clear status updates for project sponsors.
