About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead a critical, mid scale ERP system upgrade. This is a fast-paced contract role based in Sydney, focused on transitioning our current platform to its latest version, optimizing functionalities, and ensuring minimal disruption to business-as-usual operations.
You will manage the end-to-end upgrade lifecycle while working closely with technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Upgrade Delivery: execution, and successful delivery of the ERP upgrade project, managing timelines, scope, and budget.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional business leaders and technical teams to manage expectations, coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and ensure alignment.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks specific to system upgrades (e.g., data migration, custom integration breaks, downtime).
Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external ERP consultants and vendors to ensure deliverables meet quality and time benchmarks.
What We’re Looking For
ERP Upgrade Experience: Proven track record as a Project Manager successfully delivering ERP system upgrades (rather than just greenfield implementations).
Pronto Expertise: Prior experience managing upgrades or major modules within Pronto Xi is highly regarded and strongly preferred however other Major ERP systems are fine.
Location: Must be currently based in Sydney and available to start within a short notice period.
