• Rate: circa $62.48 per hour (HEW 6) + on-costs
• Duration: ASAP until 17 October 2026 (Secondment Replacement)
• Location: Melbourne City Campus (Full-time onsite)

• Oversee and maintain the daily operations of chemistry laboratories.
• Manage equipment calibration, maintenance, and chemical/gas inventories.
• Implement and develop SOPs, SWIs, and Risk Assessments.
• Provide technical training, advice, and inductions for laboratory users.
• Ensure full compliance with OH&S legislation and university safety policies.

• Possess a Degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive laboratory experience, particularly in chemical waste and gas cylinder management.
• Strong knowledge of safe laboratory practices and OH&S requirements.
• Hold a valid Victorian Working with Children Check (mandatory).
