About the Role:

The Specialist Technical Lead will work collaboratively with a group of data scientists, data analysts, simulation specialists, and engineers. You will provide technical team leadership for analysis projects, lead the identification of business requirements , and write code to conduct analysis using a range of technologies. This role involves working alongside site operations and other subject matter experts, and requires presenting analysis solutions to both technical and senior business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a strong technical leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. You will work well within a team environment and be passionate about delivering extraordinary results with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Key Reuirements:

• We are seeking an experienced technical leader with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in Data Analysis: Demonstrated experience applying data analysis, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to generate business value.

• Deep Domain Knowledge: Experience in mining, resource industry or equivalent heavy industries.

• Methodology Proficiency: Experience investigating complex problems using a structured problem-solving approach.

• Strong Leadership: Experience providing technical leadership to your team and the ability to mentor other team members.

• Excellent Communication: Strong presentation and communication skills , with the ability to influence stakeholders within different areas of expertise.

• Technical Acumen: Experience in applying industry standard analysis tools and approaches, including data platforms, programming languages (esp. Python) and data analysis technologies.
