Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with advisers and in-house finance teams to ensure the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Managing Australian tax, GST, and compliance, with a focus on Transfer Pricing.
- Working with external tax partners.
- Preparing for ATO audits and managing relationships with tax authorities.
- Establishing and maintaining a Tax Governance Framework.
- Preparing and lodging monthly BAS, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, and FBT.
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation.
- Providing guidance and support to other departments on tax-related matters.
- Managing R&D claims by supporting outsourced partners.
- Reviewing processes for continual improvement.
What You'll Bring
You are a qualified accountant or tax advisor. You will have:
- Experience in a mid/large-tier practice or in-house tax function, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Extensive experience in corporate tax.
- Strong tax accounting knowledge and previous work experience within the tax reporting arena.
- A background in corporation tax compliance.
- Communication skills to communicate tax topics to stakeholders.
- Interpersonal skills to network and foster collaboration across international and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and organisation skills.
- An understanding of business models and Transfer Pricing (TP).
