Our client is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 System Safety Engineer to join their core engineering discipline, applying tools and techniques to identify aircraft hazards and implement controls to satisfy prescribed safety objectives throughout a system's design or design change. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of key system safety artefacts and
providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice, including:
● System Safety Program Plan (SSPP) development and maintenance.
● Safety Case reports authorship.
● Production of System Safety Artefacts.
● Conducting technical risk assessments and supporting system safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance
with relevant standards and requirements.
● Developing safety plans for trial or Test and Evaluation (T&E) events.
● Providing SME advice to support certification, integration, and T&E planning and execution activities.
Minimum Requirements
● Formal Engineering Qualifications.
● Note: Candidates who do not satisfy the stated criteria (Level 3 or Level 2 + 5 years experience) will not be
considered.
Essential Citizenship Criteria
● Must be an Australian citizen - ability to obtain NV1 clearance
