About the Role

This is a rare opportunity for an educator with a background in Zoology, Ecology, or Agriculture/Horticulture to step away from the standard classroom. You will lead authentic, hands-on learning experiences—from animal care to ecosystem restoration—while delivering the VCE Environmental Science curriculum.
You will join a vibrant team that values "learning by doing," utilising the on-site facilities to bring sustainability to life for students across Years 7–12.
Key Responsibilities
Teach VCE Environmental Science and Sustainability (Years 7–12).
Utilise the school’s extensive farm and wetland facilities for applied learning projects.
Engage students in practical conservation initiatives, such as revegetation and animal husbandry.
Contribute to the development of the Environmental Management program.
Successful Candidate Profile
Registration: Current VIT Registration (or eligibility).
Qualifications: Relevant degree in Science, Environmental Management, or Agriculture.
Experience: Demonstrated ability to teach VCE Environmental Science is highly desirable.
Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for hands-on, project-based learning.
