We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Engineer who is a qualified electrical engineering professional.

As a Supply Chain Engineer - Electrical you will:
- Review and understand engineering design requirements for naval applications.
- Review and understand the shipbuilding codes and technical specifications
- Identify potential suppliers of required goods and services to support the procurement plan.
- Conduct pre-qualification desktop review of potential manufacturers and suppliers for compliance with project requirements
- Participate in on-site visits to assess supplier capabilities and quality control processes.
- Review and compare equivalent international standards
- Understand Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) requirements and results.
About You:
- Must be an Australian citizen to be able to hold and maintain and Australian NV1 Security Clearance
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia (or other equivalent Professional society).
- Have knowledge and experience of the following systems and technologies, including but not limited to:
- Cabinets and consoles, Electric Motors, Cables, Sensors
- Be able to demonstrate high levels of commercial acumen
- Ability to recognise and set appropriate priorities and work standards,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the Defence ship building industry will be advantageous
