In this pivotal front-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for the school community, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operational running of the campus.
The Role
This diverse position balances high-level administrative support with active student engagement. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Student Support: Managing daily attendance, facilitating sign-ins/outs, and providing first aid as a designated provider.
- Administration: Coordinating campus events, managing calendars for senior leaders, and maintaining accurate student compliance data.
- Communication: Acting as a key liaison between the school, families, and staff via face-to-face, phone, and digital channels.
- Logistics: Coordinating "Come and Try" days, managing co-curricular club data, and supporting the emergency management system.
About You
We are looking for a solutions-oriented team player who possesses:
- Experience: A strong background in business administration or front-facing service roles (school experience is an advantage).
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and a proven ability to quickly master new platforms and data systems.
- Organisational Flair: The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to the evolving needs of a school environment with a positive mindset.
- Interpersonal Skills: Highly developed communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in Australia.
- Current South Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Responding to Risk of Abuse, Harm and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) certification.
- HLTAID012 First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work.
