Student Communications Officer

A leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is looking for a Student Communications Officer to join its Student Experience team. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we connect with our students and ensure they have a seamless and positive experience.
About the Role
As our Student Communications Officer, you will be a key player in advancing best-practice communications for our students. Specialising in digital channels and CRM systems like MailChimp and Dynamics, you’ll be responsible for:
Creating and delivering engaging digital campaigns, EDMs, and SMS communications.
Developing high-quality content in plain English, including website copy, video scripts, and digital products that enhance the student journey.
Managing projects to ensure communications are delivered on time, every time, and align with our strategic goals.
Working closely with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear and concise messages.
Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a flair for digital and a proven ability to manage multiple projects at once. You will have:
Experience in a customer-facing or student-focused environment, with a solid understanding of how to manage diverse communication channels.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing digital campaigns and content strategies.
Advanced skills in creating high-quality, plain-English content and experience using communication platforms like MailChimp and Dynamics.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
The ability to work independently, manage competing demands, and maintain professional integrity.
Requirements
A valid and current Working With Children Check is required for this position.
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Communications, Marketing, and/or Public Relations.
